Hi I have a 2010 Audi A6 (4F) 2.0 Petrol which has highlighted the following airbag fault:
B100B1B Drivers Thorax Airbag Igniter resistance too high s indicated by my generic EOBD (I don't have a VCDS).

I've done some research and I am hoping that it is an easy fix by checking the yellow connectors near the drivers seat.
I've located the connector coming out from the floor but can't see the connecter under the seat itself.

    The questions I have are:
How do I get to the connector under the seat, does the seat need to come out and if so how do I do that?
What electrical contact cleaner do people recommend?
If I disconnect the negative terminal from the battery, do I need to do anything once I reconnect (apart from reprogramme radio stations, etc)?

    Your help is appreciated.

    Thanks
    Jay

4 m10 or m12 spline keys hold the seat down undo them and the seat will be able to tilt back then you should see the wires under the seat, they connect just as they go into the carpet, should have a black cover over the top, remove that to get to the plugs. If you are taking the seat out completely don’t forget to remove the seatbelt from the base too.
