B8 Rear Suspension Noise

Hi all

Picked up a 2018 2.0TDi saloon, 26k miles in nice condition. SE model, standard tyres.,

However, the banging and crashing from the back is quite annoying, its not uncomfortable just noisy and unrefined. Is this normal? I can't believe it would have been like it when new, do the rubbers and bushes deteriorate that quickly? Tyres are correct pressure, but again, its not over firm at all.

Any suggestions how to quieten it down a bit? The rest of the car is well insulated....

Have you ruled out the shocks? The simplest solution is some times the most likely.
