    It seems my battery has died, and i want to know if i will need a radio code if i swap the battery out, i think i have a composition media / discover media generation 2- anybody ?

    if i do, where would i find it ?

    No code required when I changed mine a few weeks ago. You need to recode the battery with VCDS or OBDeleven and possibly clear some error codes that get thrown up during the process. I seem to remember moving the steering wheel lock to lock cleared some dash board warning lights as well.

    your spot on, no code needed - and yes - i got a bloody christmas tree collection when the new one went on , tyres abs handbrake - all sorts.. took it for a drive and then cleared them all
