There is no Aux item in the Media menu, nor the AUX connector

That's interesting. Never thought about it as who would think that there were multiple "versions" of RMC install... Bless Audi.
In any case, if you figure out what you need, I can scan my car with OBDeleven and provide the outputs.

If the car has the Audi Music Interface, which I think all face lift cars had and was optional on the pre-facelift, though may have become standard before the facelift, then it does not have 3.5mm aux socket in the arm rest, only the AMI socket. You can get an AMI to 3.5mm lead so you can plug in a device with a 3.5mm output but clearly the control of that device is not then possible via the MMI interface, other than to change the volume and you would need to play with the volume on the device initiallyt to determine the right output level of the device so as not to overload the MMI system and cause distortion. What device are you trying to connect via the Aux input?

I would like to activate the AUX voice in order to use an "Android Auto" module. Only by activating it is it possible to hear the audio of the module

The car in question is a 2012 Pre-Lift, without Aux and AMI. In the coding of unit 5F, it should be visible at Byte 8 bit 4 (AUX) bit 5 (AMI)
