MP3 Music Artwork

Can someone confirm the music mp3 Artwork (usually the album cover) picture limitations on the mk8, please? (I have ordered the mk8 with Discover Pro, but upgraded to Harman Kardon audio).

On my present mk7 it needs to be a maximum of 500 pixels wide and 500 high. It's probably also restricted to max 200kB Jpeg.

Thanks for your concern, Cheezy. Fortunately the Pro is standard on all models here, except the absolute base model (I'm getting the R-Line).

Nothing in the Driver's Handbook that mentions artwork size. Can;t imagine it is any less than what is permitted on your current car

I've noticed that the album artwork is a bit random. It's definitely not showing a lot of it and my music file collection has come straight off my mk7.5 sd card. Also I've noticed the mk8 crops it a bit too.

Not had any issues with any of the mp3 artwork I was using on my MK7 (max 500 x 500 @ 200KB) but must admit I haven't gone through every album on my MK8 yet!

I've tried new artwork at 1500 x 1500 @ 544KB and 1200 x 1200 @ 700KB so far without any problems.
