We have had two where is was associated with a worn DMF, not a SMF conversion. Dean, it is an incredibly comprehensive package including injectors, full timing belt set up including HPFP, oil filter, glow plugs and vacuum pump. If you consider the injectors alone are £2k and the HPFP £1.5k...

    Hey all,

I have an update from the mechanic - He has removed the top cover and bottom cover and theres no obvious damage
He said once he removed the coupler (1 or 2) then the engine turns - once he puts them back on the engine doesnt turn?

He said that the Flywheel, Gearbox, Starter motor and oil pump are all ok and theres no signs of any damage to the pistons (seen in the pictures below which I just took from visiting him)

    Attachment 37983
    Attachment 37984
    Attachment 37985
    Attachment 37986

The coupling itself is fine he says as theres no cracks, nicks, dents so hes going to look deeper

Has anyone else had this issue in the past?
