B9 High Beam Assist

Hi all

I recently swapped my 2019 B9 Black Edition for an 2017 S Line Avant (Damn dog!)

My old car had high beam assist and according to the salesman’s Audi system, my new car has it installed however when I go to activate, nothing happens? There’s nothing in the system to activate it either.

Could this be an error on the Audi system or am I missing something?!

High been assist is activated by the driver:

1.Headlights on to Auto mode (symbol green) at night when lit
2.push on high beam stalk once = Assist (symbol white)

If your headlights are on manual (on the rotary switch for lights, you turn them on) then High beam assist is disabled.


Now once the high beam symbol is white, you need to drive at min speed and the camera in the middle of the windscreen needs to see no bright lights (headlights, tail lights, street lights).
Min speed I think is either 50mph

You can use a OBD tool or VCDS to change it to lets say 30mph... or 20
