Hi,

I bought a second hand 2012 Multivan diesel, manual gears and it runs well, always starts with no issues. But sometimes it dies a few minutes after driving off. It typically happens when breaking before a red light, crossing or in a round-about. Then it starts again with no problem what so ever for the rest of the day. I wonder if this is something I do wrong with clutch/gas/gear? Are diesel cars just more sensitive? Or just more sensitive with RPM/gears since the car is heavier? Never had a diesel van before.

If this was a simple thing like a dirtbike I would suspect that the fuel was cut off, or simply riding too high gear/low RPM. As it's a modern car I am a bit more uncertain. Any suggestions how to understand the issue better are welcomes, since I want to just the warranty I have if there indeed is a problem.

Cheers
