    Hi all,

Got a polo 6c 1.0tsi SEL and the reverse light is constantly on.

It had been in a front end smash and have replaced the whole front end, & also the bottom of the gearbox did get scraped but still drives...

Have put a new reverse switch in today from ECP but still having issues so sounds like both old & new switch were fine. What could cause this to happen? VCDS shows no issues relating to bulb (2 other faults are there regarding cooling fan & ac compressor)... only thing I can think is a wiring fault but know nothing about electronics to check.

    Thanks

The reverse light is controlled by body control module, you need to see how that is seeing the switch input using live data
