Looking for someone with VCDS programm around Bedford who can help me fix hot start on Golf MK5 1.9 tdi.
    Possible fixes:
1- VW Golf 5 warm engine start problem - emergency solution adjusting the starting fuel batch VCDS-VAG - YouTube
    2- 11. Hot Start Fix - vagecumap

Or maybe there are better options?

The first thing after a code read is to check the cranking RPM signal in measuring blocks with the engine disabled by disconnecting the head harness or pulling the ECU relay, remember to clear the fault this will store afterwards. What you are looking for is a minimum 280 rpm and as the comms for VCDS will drop out and have to reconnect as you start cranking, you will have to be cranking for a good 30 seconds so ensure the battery is good.

Only thing available for me now is Carista dongle. These are only fault codes i get:

    Engine

    Part #: 03G906016CB
    Component: R4 1,9L EDC G000
    Software version: [none]
    ASAM/ODX identifier: [none]
    Coding: 71 (decimal)
    Fault codes:
17055 Glow Plug/Heater Cylinder 1 (Q10) circuit, electrical Fault in Circuit
17057 Glow Plug/Heater Cylinder 3 (Q12) circuit, electrical Fault in Circuit
17058 Glow Plug/Heater Cylinder 4 (Q13) circuit, electrical Fault in Circuit

But it shouldn't affect hot start. Cold start is fine, starts in a second. When engine warms up a bit then it takes from 5 to 10 seconds.

Just read, reset, look up the code (basically google it) unlock "hidden" features. No live data or anything more complex.
