Yep, but ignore that last post. Was the battery. After a quick drive all warning lights gone.
Original issue of the fan still remains though.

Modern cars are so sensitive to a weak battery. Have you checked the continuity of the wire?

Sorry been a bit busy with work. Was going to do this at the w/e, but today the mrs put the rear wiper on whilst driving and immediately all the same warning lights as before have come on - abs/traction/headlight range/start/stop etc. Wondering if there's an electric gremlin somewhere that's either killed the 2 week old battery (shows fully charged on my basic traffic light style tester) or the loom has got damaged and is earthing somewhere.

Found this thread - intermittent-issue-help-please.438169/#post-4723964 - which says the blower/12v socket and rear wiper are on the same circuit. But it's for a mk2 rather than a mk3 and there's no 373 relay on my wifes.

Spoke to a mate who is good with this sort of things. He thought it might be a relay so tried plugging a phone charger into the 12v socket with ignition on and removed the relays one at a time to see if one would turn the power off to the 12v socket but none did.
Tried all the relays in the fusebox under the bonnet and behind the glovebox so am guessing there is no relay for it.

Will do, thank you. Not noticed anything. It started happening in the middle of the recent 6 week or so dry spell. But saying that it does mist up quite easily in winter.
Are there various modules under the carpets?

There is nothing in the knows faults on my system that matches but a few months ago we did have a 2016 Altea that was doing some very odd things I could not pinpoint and then the owner said smoke had come out of the passengers door lock! I found this in there which was a manufacturing fault where the door harness had become trapped, it wiped out the CAN BUS and convenience units.

Worth a look, thanks. Will investigate that and the rest of the wiring as much as i can over the w/e.
Do you know where abouts the convenience unit/module is?

My mates just dropped off my vcds. Plenty of codes this time around. Cleared them and same ones come back. Log below (I've snipped out the ones with no faults)
