Picked up a used car that only came with one key."Car Information" says two keys are registered to this car.
Is there any way I can disable the key that is not in my possession ?
I'm thinking whoever might have it might think they are on a chance "Free Uber"

Yes, through dealer. I had to take this step when I wanted to buy insurance for my B6, which only had one key.

Although I didn't buy the second key too, because of the too high the asking price, I do suggest to You - get yourself spare key made without coding and immobilizer, so you could at least open your door with a physical key - it will pay for itself when You'll forget your one and only key in the car and lock yourself out.

    Hi Sibmets,
Yep reckon I can pull the key from the fob and get a copy made which wont cost too much.
So taking your key to a dealer they can disable the other key? what was the charge may I ask.
    And thanks for your reply.

The dealer didn't charge anything for that, it's a simple 5 min job for them to take my key and delete from the system all other keys.
