Dash lights

Hello all. I have seen other threads about replacing bulbs behind the dash, can anyone tell me how to remove the dash to do this. I have a 1996 1.6 A4

did you ever find the info you needed, I now have 4 bulbs blown and would love to fix it.

Hi Scamp. No, nobody has come back, I only know when I'm doing over 110mph now!

Hi Scamp, thanks for the thread. I have completed the job following these instructions, simple once you know!
Lower and pull out the steering wheel as far as it will go, push up and out the trin,its just spring clipped, undo the two philips screws and the whole unit pulls out. On mine there were only two multi plugs, lift the coloured bar and pull out.
Went to Audi with one of the bulbs and bought 6 at £1.09 ea. Changed all as Audi said often when a new one is put in the next weakest will blow. They are all the same amps now, as Audi have changed the spec.
