    Good evening,

I have got a VW Passat cc 2011 170 GT DSG with 98k on the clock.
recently when starting the car I’ve been having issues, from cold the car starts idles and revs with no issues.
when I put the car in drive and pull away changing through the gears from 1st - 3rd it struggles to change gear juddering this is usually around 1500-2000rmp, especially up hill it is most noticeable. Also knocking very loudly.
once the car has been through the gears 1st-3rd once then the car runs perfectly fine and no issues what so ever until the next time the car is ran from cold.
I have recently serviced the car at 97k and the DSG was services by VW at 75k with timing belt and water pump.
I am thinking towards DSG / Dual mass flywheel / clutch issues as the engine idles and runs fine when the car is in park but don’t want to spend a fortune if it’s an easy fix of something that I have missed 🤞🏻

I was wondering if anyone else has been having any issues or have come across this issue that could offer some advice?
    thanks in advance
    Ben

Sounds like a combination of the clutch pack and DMF but normally you get a few more miles than 98K, often twice that
