I picked up a vw t5 1.9tdi 07 plate (BRS engine) and it's been parked up since Christmas. Serviced it and put a clutch/flywheel in it. Had it idling on the drive whilst I've been doing work to it and now it's started giving off pale blue/white smoke, given it a quick drive around the block and got up to temp but still seems to be smoking.

It seems to clean up a fair when idling/stationary but still smells quite bad and is more white smoke.

Ive checked the intake and there's not much oil, not any play in turbo impellor so i don't think it's turbo seals. No blockages in rocker breather pipe and not excess oil in intakr boost pipe.

Strange thing is it wasn't smoking before it was parked up. Need to get an MOT on it (currently sorn) but think it's a bit too smoky to pass smoke test.
