    Default Hydraulic Tappet Change – 05-03-2021,12:17 PM
    Hi guys, has anybody managed to change the Hydraulic Tappets/Lifters on a 2.0L common rail engine with out removing the camshafts etc.

    You have to take the cam module off to get at them , what they call "equaliser elements" and it is the cam module which causes the racket, they have been revised but there are a number of variations, private message me the cars VIN.
    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...

    Is this on a diesel I’ve noticed my 2.0 gtd seems to sound more rattly at tickover
