2008 Passat 1.9tdi Parking Brake Fault

I have a Passat here with a flashing parking brake warning light. The parking brake itself works fine. With VCDS it will accept the parking brake code and when the other faults are fixed and cleared the whole fault resets and comes back. The car has autohold and the coding I put into the parking brake is 0000057 (PR-UH2) Once this is done the faults drop to 2 faults. (This clears the incorrect vehicle type fault code as well) So I do a parking brake function test via basic settings then the faults drop to 1 so i re-adjust the g251 via the abs module (although the reading is always there when checking the MVB). With all the faults cleared the parking brake light goes off for a second before coming back on and throwing all 4 faults again. I have a feeling someones been altering the abs code or some other code before but I cant confirm this. Code below, thanks in advance for any help offered.

If it helps any I can clear all the faults down to the "03190 - Incorrect vehicle type" and drive with the parking light solid (not flashing as before)

EPB illuminates when pressed on but Auto Hold does not light at all when pressed.

The parking brake module of this era is renown for flaky software faults.

I had a Passat, same year, it gave a fault code for the handbrake fault light being " short to earth " , the light still worked fine.
Even the handbrake worked fine although no Auto Hold, but because it brought the fault light up, needed fixing for the MOT.
I did put a post on here about it a few years ago.

The easiest way out was to replace the PB module. ( Usually find cheap on eBay )

Once coded & basic settings performed, worked fine for the following few years ownership.
