    Default App connect and voice activation – 15-02-2021,03:34 PM
    Recently purchased a 2016 Passat se business and looking at the system in the car it won’t let me use the app connect or voice activation it says to contact dealer. No doubt they are a massive expense.

    App connect - do you have to buy from dealer? If so how much? And is it worth the money? Or is there a way of buying off the internet for cheaper?

    Same for voice activation too I guess? Dealer only purchase ? Is it worth the money or can I get it cheaper elsewhere?

    If app connect is Android auto/ Apple car play then it's worth it. Other companies that can do it besides the dealer.

    Voice activation I wouldn't say is needed or worth having.
