Can the buttons on the heater/ air=con be easily changed as mine are scratched and the red light is showing through. Its the only place showing any wear on my 2001 A4 and it bugs me

    Hi,

nope.. these cant be changed, (well the parts are NOT avaialble.)

Maybe if you could purchase a fault unit you could strip it for parts... (rahter you than me..

Mine have done the same, plus the radio ones...

to decrease wear.. remember to press and hold the "AUTO" button for 3 seconds on the drivers side so you can adjust both side with one touch.. (to revert back just press + or - on the passenger side..)

    Rick

Without ripping the dashboard to bits the best thing to do is get a fine black marker pen (CD pen) and gently colour the bits in. I have done it with mine and you cant tell its been done.
