Hoping u can help. The heater blower arm seems to not be 100%> never allows hot air to passenger side or dash.

This is the blower arm. It seems to just click on the same spot and not turn the actual arm.

Leads me to believe this is the issue.

Anything else to check or try ??
Doesn't seem t ok be been blocked by anything just not joy in moving it

Yes a common failure, new ones must be adapted to the controller or the can strip their gears immediately.

    Hi,

As said, this seems to be a common problem as our cars get older, the motors have a small variable resistor inside them, which wears over time, when you think about it, most of the time the motors sit in the same position, the temperaure we like as an example. I wrote about my experience of the replacements in this thread.

As you have found there are 5 motors, but they have different colour arms attached, depending on their function within the Climate Control system. In addition, there are a load of sensors on the climate control system, a scan with VCDS is a good plan if you have not already done so. This will tell you which sensors are out of limit. You can have a go at cleaning them, but for me this only worked for a couple of weeks, and then it exceeded it's limit again.

Here is my previous post on the subject: Hot air only works on passenger side?

The motor with the red arm should be the one for the passenger side on a UK car
The motor with the green arm should be the screen one

You are lucky, the drivers side (yellow) one is a pig to access.

Let us know how you get on.
