Checked the metering valve for noises, there is actually no noises at key on or when running, with the stethoscope and vehicle running it just sounds like gushing fluid.

    Hi all again
I still have not tracked this problem down unfortunately.
Does anyone have or can tell me where I can get an ecu and components wiring diagram for 2010 seat Leon 1.6 tdi with CAYC engine please.
I know it is some kind of fuel pressure problem. At the moment I am trying to fault find/eliminate wiring loom faults between the ecu and its components.
I am struggling to identify what wire does what and where it goes.
    Can anyone help me please?
    Thanks in advance
    Nigel

For anything useful? But of course won't be as good as using ERWIN / ELSAWIN

    Hi all, quick update.
I think, and I say cautiously, that I may have sorted it.
Once I establish exactly what I have done I will update everyone.
Thanks for your input so far.

    Hi, sorry for slow reply.
If you have any way to check your voltage at terminal 50 (most diagnostics will give you this info). Mine was triggering the faults at anything up to 21V, therefore giving false codes. It was suggested to me by someone on a forum that the overcharging could be caused by a faulty fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. The one for engine management. It is the larger maxifuse 50A one. I inspected the fuse and could see nothing abnormal but I changed it anyway. In fact I changes all the fuses in there that related to engine management. That was 2/3 months ago and as yet I have had no further problems and the voltage at terminal 30 seems stable now at under 15V. I cant explain why or what has happened so I am just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that all continues well.
Be worth a try for the cost of a couple of fuses.
Let me know how you get on.
