    Just received a quote from my local independent VW Audi non-dealership repair center for a new battery. I queried whether the new battery would require coding he stated that this was not necessary on the Q3?

    No, we just fit a Yuasa 9000 series from TPS, the new battery MUST be of the AGM type.
