Audi is currently (until 24/12) offering its service package (1 Inspection + 1 oil) service for a 10% discount (£479.10).

I had avoided this package previously as it only worked if you were on a fixed rather than variable service plan. However given how few miles my car has done in the last 9 months and the liklihood that 2021 is still going to be a low mileage year I will get them to switch the car tot he fixed plan at the service and therefore the plan makes sense. Will save about £300 off the cost of the 2 services seperately. Interesting comment from the service advisor when booking it that they cannot do a service, regardless of whether you are on a plan or not, unless the service indicator is showing a service is due.

Alos advised that my car (a 40TDi) was due the starter/alternator recall. I was under the impression this was for the petrol cars only. Parts are on back order so may not get done anyway. Is due an MMI update as well and hopefully they will sort out the Assist systems issue we have all discussed on hear at great length. Will report back in January after the service is done
