Software Update Stuck-How do I clear it?

As suggested a recent OTA update had got about 1/3 into the download and got stuck.

I have tried rebooting the infotainment and battery disconnection but still there?

Any ideas on how to clear this?

Have you tried doing a full factory reset? If that does not work then it probably needs a trip to the dealer. On our previous Golf 8 the dealer had a problem installing a software download when the car was in for a service resulting in it needing a new control module at a cost of over £3000 (covered under warranty). Hopefully your issue is somewhat simpler

I am not looking forward to getting Golf 8's with software issues, Golf 7 is bad enough.
