    Hi all,

I’m experiencing an odd issue with my Passat cc.
When driving above about 15-20 mph if I let of the accelerator there is a vibration noise (similar but quieter to the sound of a stone jammed in tyre tread), as soon as power is re-applied the noise goes away.

There are no other issues and none of the usual dsg warning signs changing gears etc.

    Has anyone experience anything similar?

I am crossing my fingers it’s something/anything other than an expensive dsg issue... lol

Thanks In advance for any help or advice

    Ben

Difficult without being able to hear it but I have had this on the DQ250 box and it was differential wear but the two I have come across did have a lot of miles on the clock.

I’m only on 92,000 miles so hopefully not a differential problem...

Solved: it was a knackered wheel bearing
