MPG Figures!!

Hi, picked up my Style Tsi 150 a couple of weeks ago with 1600 miles on the clock. First proper trip was to Denbigh, N. Wales to visit family on Saturday. We were hurrying to make up lost time on the way (M6 traffic!) and were impressed with the smoothness and mid-range acceleration. Took it easy coming back, at the legal limit or thereabouts with fairly gentle driving. The driving data for the second journey read 58.9mpg average at home. Since then been running around town a bit and getting high 40's. It's quicker and more economical than the previous car, a 1.4Tsi Match Edition with 31,000 miles on it; I was impressed with the Match Edition but this is better.

Getting about 30 mpg. Golf R using it in Sport Mode but still running in.

Thats really good for the golf r!. With my 1.5 150 I tend to get high 20s around town but thats with a very heavy foot.

My wife’s had her R-Line diesel (150) DSG for a week.
She has had 60+ every single day on her way to and from work. That’s a 20 mile each way commute on mostly dual carriageway with a mile or 2 town driving. Engine is very punchy with a fair amount of torque and the DSG box is very slick.
