With one yr. subscription, it's coming £348 with mobile installation.
That’s the one. Just checked emails. Leicester Synter charged £295 +vat, this included one year subscription.

I hope VW's insurance has improved over the years. I bought a new Ro80 and collected it from the NSU, now VW factory in Neckarsulm, just before the VW takeover. They sold me a month's fully comp. insurance, which was not cheap, to get it to the UK.
I arrived in the UK a couple of weeks later, had to stop on the M1 near Dunstable because of a big pile-up, and a Triumph Herald ran into me at speed, causing this

The German insurance company referred me to their UK agents Cornhill, who were really not interested, and just stalled me with excuses. I had to go back overseas and could not leave the car anywhere for repair, so I sealed up the gaps in the doors, boot, and windows with duct tape, and drove it back to the factory. I told them they sold me the insurance, which made them the agents for the insurance company, and would they please sort it out, gave them the keys, and left it outside their main entrance.

I collected the car three months later, but they had simply taken it to a small repair shop. Driving back I realised they had just straightened and painted it up, but the doors didn't fit and all the seals whistled like a symphony. Back in the UK I continued to argue with Cornhill, and had it checked by the AA and a large body shop in Manchester. On the way back from the body shop another car, a Viva, ran into the back of me. The back end collapsed again as it was weakened, and mainly filler.

There were now four insurance companies involved, the German one, their agent, Cornhill, my new UK company, and the one insuring the Viva.

I left the car with the body shop for the companies to sort out between them. Months later I was told it was ready - it took so long because someone broke the key off in the ignition switch and they had to get a new switch assembly from Germany - they didn't know about steering locks.
Anyway, it was a lot better, so we all went off to Algeria in it. We got there safely despite losing the brakes when the fluid boiled going down the long hill to Malaga pulling a heavy trailer - practically no engine braking with a torque converter. I decided the brake fluid had absorbed moisture during several months parked in the open in Manchester.

The car made three return trips between Algeria and UK, several long trips in Algeria, Morocco and Spain, and I finally sold it to a colleague in Algeria who apparently wrapped it round a tree in Spain. It never was a lucky car.

Just checked with two local Audi dealers - one doesn't do Tracker at all and another only do S5, which is £550 inc. VAT. Looks like need to go with independent installer
