A6 Avant black edition 121000 MILES

Hello all I am considering buying an A6 2.0 TDI S-Tronic Avant black Edition its a Dec 2014 facelift model, it has 121000 miles on it (motorway) and the car is really in mint condition with full service History so what are the opinions on buying this model with those miles on it? my mechanic has told me if serviced correctly engine will be fine but has concerns re the gearbox. obviously its cheaper than most black Editions out there so opinions would be greatly appreciated

The new S-tronics are really good. As long as the gearbox oil was done every 38k miles, you should be good. Check this is part of the "full history"...

Hi. Gen2 s tronics still have issues,but at that mileage it ment to have had mechatronic unit and/or clutch done. I am used to traditional auto boxes and took me some tine to get used to my stronic,but shifts are super fast and silky smooth,cant feel a thing. My car has only 28k on the clock,but it needs new mechatronic unit which is going to be done next week sometime by audi,but still it shifts quick and smooth.
Slight hesitation when start driving from stand still,but soon getting used to that.
