Hi Papalion/RickT, just reading through all the posts about the connection cables and software available to diagnose issues. I'm am totally conmfused, how do you go about identifying what cable and freeware to use? I have an A4 2.0 Sport 02 model (B6 I think) - can you help? I have found some sites on ebay offering all sorts of different cables and looked at the ross-tech site and got more confused!

There are plenty of vendors around and I agree it's an overwhelming subject to get to grips with.

Have a look in our VAG-COM section for some ideas and when you're ready to purchase I can recommend eshrules (a member here).

He has a section in the forum discounts subforum.

    Welcome to VWAF too

Considering selling my VCDS KEY-USB interface. If you're interested please contact me via PM or email.

    Hi,

i used the below ebay seller to get mine a few years ago..

    http://search.stores.ebay.com/alpha-...Q20usbQQsofpZ0

have a look at the Ross Tech website and you will be able to see the type you need.

    If i remember right... you need a KKl ODB2 - and i use VAG-COM version 4.9
