VW CC 2.0 tdi 33,000 miles.

Noise appears just before bite point upon lifting up clutch when pulling away, can be felt through the pedal until I’m over a few mph then the engine and road noise drowns it out/ mixes up the feeling coming through the pedal.

No vibrations or noise when driving other than what sounds like tyre roar from front left of car, could this be a wheel bearing?

Last clue when driving and coasting in 4th gear if I rest my hand on the gear knob I can feel a change of vibration on deceleration only, not when accelerating.

Gears changes are all smooth and quiet, I have a years warranty from the dealer, anyone have any clues with such low mileage I’m amazed I have a problem.

Oh also feels somewhat like a have left the handbrake on when I initially begin to pull away, once the car has moved a foot it’s fine, I know the handbrake is disengaged it caught me out a few times.

The resistance pulling away is the hill hold assist, quite normal. Without feeling it the clutch vibe sounds normal as well, for a fuel of the Devil engine.

It’s a different feeling to the hill hold, felt more like a lot of clutch slip when I was expecting the bite point to pull up more slack.

It could be the DMF and clutch on their way out.

Just got the car back from my local trusted garage, owner test drove the car strewing the clutch and couldn’t link any noises to dmf failure, also wasn’t put off with the extra vibrations on pull off or increased noise. He did notice a higher pitched whine on acceleration which I asked him to listen out for, he concluded it could be from the engine somewhere, vacuum leak maybe, I thought it sounded more mechanical/drivetrain than engine noise.

Anyway long story short car is sound for now, apart from the headlight motor giving me warning lights on the days and disabling afs (bend lighting). Hoping the warranty cover faulty headlights..
