I have the wiper motor out and stripped down and everything seems to be in working order (now that it is cleaned). The circuit board seems to be un-burnt.

I can’t see why the rear wiper is not working.

Per the manual, there is only one fuse for the ‘wiper system’ and the front wipers work but not a twitch from the rear.

Does anybody know what setting to put a multimeter on to test the wiring. There are 4 wires coming into the wiper motor and 2 of them are noticeably thicker than the other two wires so I’m guessing they are the ones that carry the juice (brown and black w. Yellow stripe).

No. I am uncertain about my knowledge of how to use a multimeter so, at the moment, I am unable draw any definite conclusions (esp juice is arriving but nothing is working so it’s buggered).

Your best bet is probably to test continuity of wires across the body-boot lid with the continuity function (makes a beep when probes are connected) or simple ohm measurement on the multimeter. A sewing pin with a few strands of wire wrapped+taped around it then around probe to pierce the wire on the body side, then standard probe tip on connector at wiper plug.
