    Hi
I have a 2010 TT with the RSN-E HU & MFSW, a year ago I purchased a 7 digit postcode disc from the SatNavi shop that has worked with no issues all this time until yesterday, whilst out following the sat nav the following happened :-
The DIS returned to my speed rather then directions, followed shortly by the sat nav not providing any info.
Then a message saying no dvd/disc found, I pressed the disc eject button and nothing happened, the screen would also not fold away, the radio was still working but none of the selection button on the HU worked.
When I stopped the car and turned off the ignition, still nothing and the screen was open.
I returned to the car about thirty mins later and the screen had closed, I removed the sat nav disc and the HU worked perfectly.
I put the nav disc back in and set the sat nav for my return trip within 2 minutes the above happened again, during my drive home the sat nav announced - planning route, I pressed eject and the disc came out. The HU then worked perfectly.
Upon getting home I re-installed the 2010 gen Audi disc that came with the car and it works fine - weird or what
Could this fault have been caused by a non-genuine Audi disc (that has worked fine for over a year) or could it be something else ?
Many thanks for any suggestions - Ian Simkins

You need a diagnostic scan of the head unit BUT it may need to go on the VAG system ODIS for a Software Version Management check.

Suggestion: visit RNS-E Firmware | Home and pay for the very modest upgrade which will allow you to put the maps on SD card.
No connection except as happy customer.
