Hi guys,

I've been having some issues with the dreaded DPF.

I have a 2014 A6 Avant 2.0 TDI Ultra. I do lots of motorway miles so I'm assuming that the DPF will do it's regens while I am driving. I've never had issues since I bought the car until about 6 month ago when the DPF light came on. I didn't think any thing of it and took it out on the motorway. Sure enough the light went out and I was happy. The problem never occurred again until Christmas. The DPF light comes on at least once a week, sometimes, mid journey. Then when I take it out on the motorway (normally while I am out for work) the car will start flashing coil light, engine light comes on and the car goes into limp mode.

I have a VCDS cable and scanned the car. I have also tried to do a forced regen on the car. The strange thing is that when I do a forced regen, it always stops at 300 seconds and doesn't go any further.
