Unknown Icon on A3 Dashboard-Help!

I have an Audi A3 1.8T Quattro and an wired symbol has appeared on my dashboard, I did not get the manual with the car and I do know a fair amount about cars but ave no clue as to what this symbol means. It is none of the below it has a square at the top what looks like a cross (x) in the middle a straight line at the bottom and a line to the right of it??? any ideas I have been looking for Dashboard symbols and Icons online and cant find nuffin can you believe it.

Hi and thanks for the welcome I dont think it is the engine management light as I have seen that light before it has EPC in big letters or a symblo with zig-zags going through it, I know as I paid for a new engine over a year ago after mine blew, any other ideas or know where I can find symbols online?

Hi I called Audi who generously advised me they would charge to £120 to look at the car and then a further £120 an hour to fix the problem and im guessing that figure is not including of VAT.

It looks a bit like the low fuel warning with bits missing ?

Yeah thats what I was thinking!, getting any beeps as well? Anyone else find the fact the red bars start waay to early maybe just used to my previous cars but I alway feel robbed that the red starts so soon after 1/4 of a tank!

Lol I had to look at my picture again I agree it does look like the low feul symbol but that works fine on my car (trust I know im always in it lol), but nah its not that funny enough it stopped today didnt come on so thats either real good or real bad
as as for Audi red bars yeah i agree they come on the 1/4 mark although my computer still says I can do 25 miles (dependant of speed) which does seem about right with other cars that I have owned unless my computer is buggered
