Just looking through for a solution to what I'm after but your link doesn't seem to work for me. Basically when I download the 7z file for the latest UK maps I wait for 20-30 minutes which is fine but when I try to extract I get many data and check sum errors. I have a fairly slow laptop, but was wondering if there is another solution? Phil

Yeah, I've got the same problem. I tried first on my macbook, that gave an error (no reason - just 'there was an error' ) after 3 tries, I went on my Windows desktop and that explained the error (at least...) - whereby the Mac software had a green 'OK' tick next to 'Write Protected', the Windows version said it was locked (my bad too) After sliding the lock to Off, everything seemed to be going well until it got to the unzipping part after finishing the DL, then when almost complete, it threw up a checksum error and just bombed out asking me if I wanted to retry...an hour later - same thing! What a piece of... (sniff...you know what!)

Well, the car's 3yrs old in June....hopefully I'll have a solution before then
