    Just out of curiosity I have checked Polish configurator of new Q7 which is much wider than this in UK. All Q7 versions have grey buttons. In German configurator all versions have haptic buttons. Perhaps it is one of few small differences between Q7 and Q8 interior on some markets?
    But frankly speaking I don't see any logic in this so far.

    my facelift 2020 (due to collect next week) has the grey physical buttons

    the images on the configuration show grey buttons on UK website but haptic for the German website

    Congrats on the new car! Can you share some pics when you get it? What spec did you go for?

    Interesting.. maybe the grey buttons is just the "norm" now.. even though you can get the haptic ones on ebay etc... easy swap out

    For e-tron (4KE) this is an option, the basic version comes with plastic button, but for around 160 pounds one can order the car with glass buttons. In this case the main light switch changes to glass as well from plastic.

    Ooh. Have they changed the locations of the ACC front radars (twin dome things near corners) or do you not have that option?
