    hi Guys, just getting used to everything with the A6 just wondering what kind of fuel economy to expect, i have tanked up a few times and using Fuelio i am showing just over 11L/100km a lot of country road driving and some highway. how does this compare?

    There should be a build sticker in the spare wheel well in the boot, and/or inside the service book cover. If you can find it, it will have the engine code, gearbox code, paint code, and codes for the options included.

    ok according to the sticker the engine code is CAGB 100kw TDI 2.0e

    That’s the TDIe engine, I have the same engine with a manual box and I get 650-700 miles on one tank.

    The trip computer say regularly 50mpg.

    now i am worried cos my average is 11 and i am struggling to drive any calmer, i am on cruise control as much as possible... any pointers to look at would be welcome, i just changed oil and filter for a reasonable Total synthetic will probably change diesel filter and air filter this weekend if weather is ok

    Check it on diagnostic for any errors. Check that coolant temperature sensors' reading are OK. Change all filters (fuel, air, oil). Check for air leak from turbo to engine, fuel leak, tires pressure.
