    I was driving in europe (UK 4M) and couldn’t found settings to change mode of headlight to change to eu. And lots of driver from opposite direction was flashing me. I used to have on my A7 . FYI i got matrix LED.

    Hi,

    Pretty sure that if you have full MATRIX headlights this changeover happens automatically ,
    not sure about just LED headlights.

    I am pretty sure it didn’t change. I was getting some flashes from opposite direction.

    Yes, if you don't have the change changeover option in your MMI it is made automatically based on the data from navigation.

    Did you have auto-lights on? I experienced the same issue the first time I drove on the continent but usually only when I was using the auto full-beam/dip setting.

    I think that there is a possibility to initiate this function also in MMI by coding. As I remember it is in Module 09 Central Electric, byte 5, bit 1 (on). This should allow manual change in MMI the lights from RHD on LHD.
    Andy, please confirm that I am not mistaken.

    Yes Retom,

    I have just ticked that box on my car and can confirm that I
    now have the option in the MMI to change to tourist lights.
    Might have to give it a try when I go over the border into LANCASHIRE !!
