poor idle oil pressure light

hi guy hope you can help me out hear my mk2 1300 golf seems to idle poor and when i turn the lights on the idle speed drops and the oil pressure warning buzzer comes on soon as i give a bit of throttle all is good again it drives really well just this problem when idle

first check your oil level just in case
are you sure its the oil light and not battery light?
rough idle could be due to worn rubber carb mounting plate
look for tears in the rubber (its just under the carb )
or run on idle and with both hands slightly move carb forward , backward and side to side .if the rubber plate is torn you should hear the engine revs drop or it may cut out .if this happens you need a new one .
think its only available from vw main dealers

hi it is the oil pressure light i have plenty oil and have worked out that they are not related problems i will try a new rubber mounting

Maybe alternator playing up??? Had the same problem with my mk2 jetta 1.3 (same engine)
