What do you guys think of Extended car waranties

Guys......
I went on to Waranty Direct web site and got a quote for an "extra care" for £295.00

This sounds pretty good considering the cost of repair of little stuff.

later on I'll post a copy of what is included and what is not

Would love your views/horror stories on these......please before i part with the cash.

£295 seems good. I pay £1100 to BMW for their extended warranty.

Extended warranties are discussed alot on BMW forums due to BMW's cost... the upshot is normally not what they list as is "included" but what they don't mention\cover or class as wear items. Also watch what is said or intimated in the small print, the total cost allowed per claim and how many claims can be made during the policy period.

Not trying to be negative about them, but as with most insurance polices they want to find reasons why they don't have to pay out.
