    Hello,

So turns out my Audi B7 Cabriolet, is actually a B6 Cabriolet. Whoops. Apparently the light clusters are slightly different on the B7 Cabriolet. I can't actually decide which I prefer more at the moment.... the B7 is more aggressive looking, whereas the B6 is more refined looking.

Anyway, I'm slowly wading through the electrical faults and I've fixed quite a few already.... however my K-Line was jammed and to 'unjam it', I did the standard "unplug until yay" process resulting in me removing the Sat Nav unit in the boot which looks like it might have suffered a bit of water ingress in the socket. I've not reinstalled it yet as I don't need it currently.... but the only reason I mention this, is because I am now trying to programme a key.... something I've done on an A4 Saloon with no problem at all, yet I'm struggling.

I obtained my 4 digit Pin using VAG Commander, as I have before and verified it using the Engine Module in VCDS.

However, on VCDS, when I go into Instruments - Login is totally greyed out. You can view adaptation and all that stuff, but I can't login and that is, of course, required for key matching.... on an A4 B6 Saloon.... However, I've just been reading up and it turns out some cars have a separate immo which means you have to programme key fobs slightly differently, in the Immo settings. I'm a bit cautious about messing around in the Immo, I've seen people brick their Immo's when being careless, even in VCDS.

Does the B6 Cabrio have a separate Immo to the Cluster? Edit: I can confirm, it's part of the instrument cluster.

I honestly can't and don't see why it should/would, but then the Ross Tech website says Cabrio's do.... but my understanding is the original Cabrio title is used more commonly to refer to the 1992-2002 Cabrio.

I've attached an Auto-Scan, feel free to pop up with any suggestions as I'm a bit baffled here...

The reason I mentioned removing the Sat Nav module. This code: 01336 - Data Bus for Comfort System comes up quite a few times, however from reading online, this might just be a byproduct of disconnecting the Sat Nav module in the boot and potentially causing my issues? The other code that worries me is this bad boy under radio: 01317 - Control Module in Instrument Cluster (J285) however, if its just radio, I fail to see the issue?

Before anyone mentions the air con fault.... it's too cold to bloody test if it actually works or not The ECON button is not permanently lit though.

    Code:
