Q7 4M with Front Camera system - Audi Calling to get some calibration? updated that has apparently been wrong (2 hr process)

Anyone able to shed any light on this or have received a called from their dealerships (UK? or otherwise), basically had a call from Audi asking me to bring the motor in to update something the the "Front Camera" that hasn't been set correctly all since manufacture. Audi weren't being too clear and also seemed like they want you to come at your own time and not actually want to collect or provide another car, odd one, I should have pressed for more info.

In any case, booked it in provisionally, just wanted to put this out there and know if anyone else who have the front camera and have any calls from Audi as yet. There is no info on MyAudi/YourAudi website

Hey Sat, long time no speak, hope all is well!

So I’ve heard this but for my brother in laws SQ5 - he had a few missed calls from his dealer and it transpired that this was one of the issues they wanted the car back for. He’s booked in for sometime in November as whilst they were persistent in getting hold of him there didn’t seem any rush in getting him in.

Doesn’t actually help you in finding out what wrong etc but wonder if @andyhud007 can find any more info...

The camera has some heater elements in it that keep it warm if the windscreen is iced up etc.

Those heating element settings aren't right apparently so the software update is to set them correctly.

Saw the tpi the other day. My car also needs it done.
