    Afternoon, 2015 A6 Allroad 65000miles
Driving home from work last night my car was fine, drove nice and trouble free. This morning I went to move my car and when I started it flagged up an Adblue fault, Engine wont restart in 650miles, also put engine management light on.
So, did the usual google and it suggests the fluid is low, put 10litres in without issue, started car, fault still present. Bought another 10litres and only managed to get 2 litres in before overflowing. Still have the Adblue fault message only now its down to 600miles.
What its likely to be? Im due to get codes read tonight.

    Thanks folks

Had this on my 2015 Ultra about 18 months ago. Adblue fault is different to add adblue. The dealer looked at it and in the end found nothing specifically wrong and cleared it by taking it for a "spirited drive" down the A3. Took nearly 20 miles for it to clear. Would highly recommend a trip to the dealer (or Audi specialist) even thoiugh your car looks to be just out of warranty you will hopefully get some degree of goodwill from the dealer

As it happens I've only had the car 2 months so if it requires anything more than a clearing of the codes it'll be getting kicked back to the garage I purchased it from. Thanks for your input, as it happened I came across your thread when searching on google and within the forums itself, did you get a calibration done along with a flogging?

Can't recall exactly what they did and as it was a warranty item I think the invoice was fairly limited (at work so cannot look at it. I know that whatever they did initially did not help and it only cleared the code after the 20 mile drive. As your car is 2 months old (to you) and came from a dealer I would be straight back there with it as you have legal oblgations (warranty and sale of goods) on your side.

So I have had the fault codes read and tried resetting without success, going to ring garage once they open to get it booked in.

    1 FAULT FOUND
196887 - Control Circuit for Redundant Pump 1
    P208B 00 (009) - Implausible Signal

Having a Google suggests either a bad wire or wiring to a failed pump.

Car is in the garage, its been confirmed that the pump has failed. Been told it can take up to 3 weeks to get the pump, not happy but it could be worse.

The garage that I bought the car from are fitting a new genuine item, if it was me fitting and paying I would buy the item from Istanbul and delivered by next weekend for £280 all in. Im happy that they are buying genuine pump, just not happy I'm without my Allroad for potentially 3 weeks.
