OK, let me start at the beginning! I've got a 51 plate GTI 1.8T - I had a Bailey dump valve fitted by Demon Tweeks in August and immediately my car turned into mega gimp mode, dead slow, juddery when accelerating and using loads of fuel. After a load of money and diagnostics it was found that the dump valve was faulty so I got my money back and had the original re-circulating part that Demon Tweeks removed, put back on, as well as a few hoses that had to be replaced cos they'd cut through them. I was hoping that would represent the end of it, however its not! My car has returned to as it was performance wise, as responsive as it was before, no juddering etc, however the ECU display is all over the place, everytime I accelerate it drops the average MPG b about 5mpg and then will climb back again when I settle at a steady speed?

Its prbably a stupid question but then, hey, I'm stupid, is there a way that you can sort of reset it? Obviously its had a load of messing about and I think its back to normal cos of the way it drives, but the dash display just isn't showing that?

    Any feedback welcomed

    Cheers
