Upgrade RMC to MMI 3G

Hello,

As my next project I’m thinking of trying to upgrade from the standard RMC to MMI 3G+. The parts I’ve found are:

1) upgraded mmi touch panel for near autoshift
2) upgraded 8 inch folding screen
3) upgraded head unit with two sd cards and a sim
4) separate tuner unit
5) new Colour DIS

has anyone done this before? I think I’ll need but hoping someone can confirm or be specific what part number I:

a) new cable harness
b) something to mount tuner in boot (if it goes there)
c) component protection removed
d) recoding dis to immobiliser/keys etc

I did mmi3g to 3gp in an a4

Now I have a6 and have RMC thought of MMI3G mib etc got all the part numbers I believe the screen is the same and there is no boot module like the a4

I am talking on 2015 and newer
