Air Con not working HELP!!!

Hi guys hoping you can help me, my air con stop working so re-gassed it and it still not working, did a VAG check and these are the results:

I cleared them and it returned with 17-instrument fault which looking into further didn't seem anything was wrong, can anyone help in what it could be.

You regassed it, did you download it into a vacuum and measure how much refrigerant and oil there was, a decent aircon tech would know if it was the compressor not kicking in or what was wrong. It needs a specific amount of refrigerant and oil not a guess or that'll do.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I went down the right route, there a local guy who lives in the area you re-gasses aircon. He basically had the air con canister he screwed the gauge into wear the gas goes into that's in the engine bay.

The gauge did show 0 he put the gas in until it got to about 40, now I'm not sure if that all that needs to be done. Do you think it best taking it to a proper aircon tech.

The compressor does kick in, you can hear it when you press the AC button.

As I said it needs a specific amount if it's leaked then that needs fixing it's also like to do more damage with a poke and hope overfilling is as bad if not worse than under it'll pop seals a good lad is, www.airconditiongforcars.co.uk if he doesn't cover your area he may be able to suggest someone.

Mate type it in, every vehicle has a set amount of gas and oil I don't have the information it may even have leaked straight away. As for letting it out that's pretty illegal and possibly harmful to your skin, refrigerant is covered by a lot of legalese, take it to a specialist it's worth the money.

If they had zero there’s a leak somewhere that will need fixed. It’s a closed system so shouldn’t really get to zero.
Other thing is your air con guy, what is he measuring 40 what? Grams? Pressure? Widgets?
The sticker under your bonnet should tell you how much gas there should be in the system.
