    hi guys,

    just looking for info on how to remove the c pillar on my audi a6 c6 avant.

    got new a-d pillars, lights, handles and roof lining etc, done all but the c pillar, I no theres a screw at the bottom but cant find out out to get to it, and don't want to start pulling thing hard without knowing.

    You have to take off the rear seat seat bolster, this is done by removing the reclining rear seat pin and then liftin the lower seat out to access the lower screw for the bolster.

    hey,
    thanks for the fast reply.

    just had a look at what you said, the pin, is that the metal pin sticking out the side that the seat clicks into when seat in normal up right position?,

    and does the lower back seat just pull off or it screwed in underneath?

    all sorted now,
    got chance to have a quick look today and you was right, back seat lifts off easy and theres a No. 8 nut to remove, and the No. 5 hex inside the pin at the top, took them off and the padding came off easy, C pillar came off then without to much effort.
