Other day noticed an audi A6 in front of me indicating and thought bloody hell them rear indicators are proper carp, so when home took a look at the wifes car and yes they are the same, bloody dangerous in my eyes.
Has anyone done anything to make them brighter etc?

Ive just tried new bulbs and they are just the same.

I did not notice for indacators, but for reverse lights can confirm same. They are completely useless. I have to lighty press / activate brake lights to see where I am going.

Have you ever looked at the indicators on a Golf 5 when the brake lights are on? You cannot see the indicators as they are surrounded by red, many modern cars have terrible lights from the perspective of other road users, the headlights on modern Range Rovers seem designed to burn the retina’s of on coming drivers and Citroen DRL’s blind you in summer daylight. “See and be seen” used to be the mantra, I don’t think needing to wear sunglasses at night is helpful. The problem is designers and approval bodies are full of young things, not mid fifties old gits like me who get dazzled by modern lights.

Always thought it was a s!ht idea to put indicators right into/next to a brighter light like the headlights or brake lights, form over function though these days.
