27,000 mapped miles (101,000miles in total) and (touch wood) the only failure I’ve had was an injector the other week.

Im currently running approx 300+bhp / 490lbs ft torque

The key is HOW the power is delivered; some companies really spike the torque at low RPM’s and this is what will kill your gearbox

The box is holding up well and the gear changes are still super smooth. Im due a service on it in about 6k but Ill probably get it don early

the ‘warranties’ offered by Celtic etc run ALONGSIDE any manufacturer warranty so a 245bhp will be outside of this....

The german tuning firm, ABT, does one for the 245 (among pretty much all of the other engine alternatives). ABT work alongside Audi and VW in Germany and offer a warranty at extra cost. They also have sales reps/places of install in the UK. They are very highly regarded....also by Audi (my dealer does installs of their products).

One is 282bhp and 630Nm. The other 300bhp and 580Nm.

Not cheap though at €2990 for either package, plus install cost. TUV is ibviously not an issue for the UK. The warranty packages they offer are either for 12, 24 or 36 months.
