Hi, thought i'd start a new thread for this one...

    I've got a 2002 TDI 130 PD passat, recently i've noticed what feels like a misfire/engine hesitation

the happens between 1500rpm and saty 2500rpm at wide open throttle, if i accelerate smoothly its fine, but if you jam the thottle down it feels like it looses power for a spilt second and then is fine... also it doesn't do it all the time.

also i've had the Engine Workshop! message appear on the display twice now although this doesn't happen in time to the fault, its happened when i've been queuing in traffic....

i'm really getting fed up with this car!

    thanks for any help
